I am from San Antonio, Texas and grew up to attend eight schools before I graduated from High School. I had a career in business and didn’t begin to paint until I was 33 years old with two children. I had never had an art class but made up for that with steady studying for over 25 years. Favorite teachers were Edwin Havas and William Senior and Denise Collins all New Jersey top artists. I took so many workshops and classes that they began to blur together.
Over the years my paintings have been sold to many individuals through galleries. The Family Jewels in Park City, Utah I had two sold out shows, the Hammond House in Ludlow, VT, the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ , the Cultural Arts Center of Cape Cod, the Osterville, MA library are just a few.
For five years I was at Towles Court where I painted and displayed my work. I have entered the University Park Art show and have won Best in Show and also received the Transparent award with the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society. I was president for a year with them. I donate paintings to The Wounded Warriors, The Christ Child Society and I teach children when I have time.
